Since 2011, LifeChanger of the Year has recognized almost 7,000 educators in all 50 states, and awarded more than $650,000 to school and school employees. Each nominee will automatically be eligible to win a cash prize up to $10,000, and all prizes are also split between the individual educator and their school.
Last year, LifeChanger recognized multiple educators from Utah, including Copper Hills High teacher Andrea Hinojosa. LifeChanger of the Year program is seeking nominations to help celebrate more of Utah’s educators.
For each LifeChanger nomination the organization:
- Creates an individual profile on the LifeChanger website where community members can leave supportive comments.
- Sends the nominee a congratulatory certificate.
- Shares a press release about their nomination with local media.
Anyone can make a nomination (by name or anonymously) and it's completely free. If you'd like to learn more about the program, go to www.lifechangeroftheyear.com or contact Christina Emmerthal with questions.
