According to AdoptAClassroom.org, teachers spend more than $800 of their own money on classroom supplies. WGU wants to help! WGU is hoping to shine a positive light on teachers and thank them for their selfless efforts in educating our children. The “Fund My Classroom” initiative is aimed at helping teachers throughout Colorado, Idaho, Utah, and Washington expand their curriculum.

With a maximum of up to $300 additional funding, educators can enhance their classrooms with new tools, technology, and materials which can improve the learning experience and engagement for students.

The Fund My Classroom initiative helps ensure that all students, regardless of their school’s budget, have access to high-quality educational resources. This can help address disparities and create more equitable learning opportunities.
How It Works
K–12 teachers needing funding to support their planned innovative projects are encouraged to submit a proposal at the URL below through November 4. Individuals may also nominate someone other than themselves. Winners will be notified via email.
