5th Annual Women In the Money Conference FlyerThe Utah Women in the Money Conference is a personal finance conference designed for Utah women hosted by the State Treasurer of Utah. This is a valuable resource for those who teach and inspire our next generation, so any educator or public education employee may use the following code during registration to attend the conference in person for free: Educate2023. (There is no cost for anyone to participate virtually.) 

While the program is tailored to women, men are welcome to attend. Educators are encouraged to share this opportunity with their students and their students' parents (see attached flyer).

The conference will be held in-person at the Sheraton Salt Lake Hotel and virtually on the EventMobi platform on Thursday, September 28 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. and Friday, September 29 from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. (You do not need to attend both days, but are welcome to.) Sessions will also be recorded and available for those who registered for up to a year following the event.

Jordan School District and the Salt Lake Bees are joining forces to show appreciation to all JSD employees by offering free tickets to an upcoming Bees game against the Oklahoma City Dodgers on Thursday, August 17 at 6:35 p.m.

Kevan Sprague, the 2022 Distinguished Education Support Professional of the Year, will be throwing out the first pitch along with a Unified Sports athlete!

MACU Scholarships & Grants PageFor many educators, the 2020-21 school year presents unique challenges. Dedicated teachers are reexamining their lesson plans, tools, and teaching methodologies to ensure they are making an impact on their students—whether they are virtual, hybrid, or in-person but distanced.

Mountain America Credit Union wants to help teachers make that impact. Grants are specifically-designated for items or projects that have a long-standing impact and that support classroom learning (as opposed to school-related clubs or activities).
