Dear Employees,
We want you to be aware that FEMA and the FCC have scheduled a nationwide emergency alert test for this Wednesday, Oct. 4 beginning at approximately 12:20 p.m. This will impact anyone with a cell phone.
The wireless emergency alerts will appear on all consumer cell phones which are powered on stating the following: “THIS IS A TEST of the National Wireless Emergency Alert System. No action is needed.”
The cell phone portion of the test is scheduled to last approximately one minute and will be conducted with the participation of all radio and television providers in Utah and nationwide.
